We are currently overseeing the capital works programme for a significant investor developer and are seeking a skilled client-side construction project manager to lead these works across the ACT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience in delivering construction-focused capital projects, including managing technical, commercial, and contractual aspects.
• Capability to develop, manage, and deliver a pipeline of complex projects.
• Proficiency across the entire project lifecycle, encompassing design management, procurement, and construction delivery.
• A solid understanding of Australian Standard consultancy and construction contracts, standards, and codes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Monitoring schedules and ensuring timely project progression.
• Reviewing consultant submissions and technical documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field are desirable.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with the confidence to advise, negotiate, and influence at senior levels.
• Ability to mentor less experienced project managers.
• Capacity to deliver complex projects while balancing risk, timelines, cost, and stakeholder expectations.
• Demonstrated, significant working experience as a Project Manager, covering the end-to-end project management process from scope and design through to construction, with an emphasis on building infrastructure.
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including MS Project.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills.
