Mikcomm Communication Pty Ltd, a national telecommunication construction company with its Head Office in Minchinbury, Sydney, is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee daily site operations. Experience in the telco industry is preferred, but not essential.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Sydney, NSW. You will report to the State Construction Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficient planning and coordination of all works.
• Managing site staff.
• Opening and closing of worksites.
• Implementing and enforcing site controls, including HSE standards.
• Quality control and handovers.
• Managing As Built/As Constructed drawings.
• Interpreting and implementing plans.
• Meeting with council, main roads, and service authorities.
• Planning, scheduling, and coordinating contractors.
• Materials management.
• Organising maintenance of plant and equipment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role or as a leading hand.
• Proven experience in civil construction, including underground utilities and directional drilling.
• Ability to work under pressure with changing scopes.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and engineering diagrams, including DBYD plans.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and execution skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of HSE principles.
• Willingness to take a hands-on approach to both supervisory and labour tasks on site.
• Ability to monitor performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.
• Computer literacy.
