We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Contract Administrator who excels in a dynamic environment and appreciates diverse tasks, while also offering leadership within a rapidly expanding industry. This is a full-time role based at our office in North East Victoria.
A day in the life of our Contract Administrator involves:
- Preparing quotes and documents, alongside maintaining registers.
- Managing various business registers pertaining to fuel charges, product costs, plant hire, and purchasing.
- Establishing and maintaining crucial project documentation, including job files, drawing registers, and contract registers.
- Monitoring project advancement against contractual milestones, addressing any variances or concerns.
- Preparing, reviewing, and submitting project-related claims, ensuring prompt resolution and payment.
- Undertaking administrative tasks related to claims, subcontractors, and other HSEQ requirements.
- Performing general administrative duties such as managing timesheets, tracking costs, and serving as the initial point of contact for inquiries.
- Providing leadership within our small yet adaptable team, which is well-suited to change.
What We’re Looking For:
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role and industry; knowledge of the civil construction (mid-size construction sector) will be favourable.
- A working understanding of Australian, state, and local guidelines and regulations.
- Focused attention to detail, with an awareness of compliance and document management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills for collaborative work with internal and external stakeholders.
