Contracts Administrator – HumeLink West Project

CPB UGL JV is delivering the ~140km western section of the HumeLink high voltage electricity transmission project for Transgrid. This project involves new 500kV transmission lines connecting Wagga Wagga, Maragle, and Bannaby in regional NSW, aiming to substantially boost the capacity of Australia’s eastern states’ electricity network. HumeLink represents a significant energy infrastructure undertaking, featuring approximately 365kms of proposed new transmission lines and other upgraded infrastructure. The HumeLink West scope, valued at $1.4bn, encompasses the construction of new 500kV double circuit transmission lines over ~140kms from Wagga Wagga Substation to a new Substation at Gugaa, the Interface Point with HumeLink East near Gundagai, and a new substation at Maragle for future connection to Snowy 2.0.

As a Contracts Administrator on the HumeLink West project, you will play a vital role in managing financial, contractual, and site administration, contributing to project success and adherence to company standards. This full-time, onsite position is located in Wagga Wagga.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Effectively managing the administration of all subcontract and supplier contracts.
• Overseeing the financial administration for the project.
• Managing the site office administration for the project.
• Assisting the Project Manager in preparing and reviewing the project monthly report, including providing completed workings, programme, and cost data.
• Developing and managing your own work schedule to deliver required outputs with expected quality and within timeframes.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Economics, Law, or Business.
• Previous experience in contracts administration within the construction industry.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

Evidence of tertiary qualifications and proof of the right to work will be required where applicable, prior to successful appointment.
