Our client, a national facilities service provider with a holistic approach to maintenance, project management, and building services across commercial, retail, aged care/retirement, education, and healthcare sectors, is seeking an experienced Contracts Service Manager. This role offers an opportunity to lead a high-performing team and oversee the successful delivery of multiple service contracts within a business that values strong leadership, client relationships, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
The Role Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will manage the day-to-day delivery of multiple contracts and lead a team of Supervisors and Contract Administration Leads. Your responsibilities will include ensuring consistent achievement of operational performance, client satisfaction, financial outcomes, and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of trade staff, supervisors, and contract administrators.
- Managing contract performance, KPIs, budgets, and profitability.
- Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Overseeing contractor performance, procurement, and service delivery.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
- Conducting site visits and quality assurance inspections.
- Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with HSEQ standards and WA WHS legislation.
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and contribute to business growth.
About You We are looking for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing operational management with client engagement.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience managing service or maintenance contracts.
- Strong leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and contract performance.
- A qualification in Project Management (Cert IV minimum, Diploma preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Experience within facilities management, maintenance, asset management, or government contracts will be highly regarded.
- A solutions-focused mindset and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer outcomes.
