Project Co-ordinator | Developer Builder

Company: Construction Talent Authority Location: Adelaide SA Work Type: Full-time Salary: $110,000 – $130,000 + Super

This Tier 1 Developer/Builder is advancing towards becoming a leading Australian provider of bespoke commercial, industrial, and high-rise residential projects. With over fifty years of engagement in the real estate market, they possess significant insights into identifying value, investments, returns, and cash flows for clients, offering advice on optimal purchase and development locations.

They are committed to creating, building, and delivering outstanding projects while upholding the principles of a family builder.

The Position

This role initially encompasses estimation and contract administration, with project coordination responsibilities developing over time. The ideal candidate is a construction professional with three to five years of experience post-university. This experience should include exposure to estimating, contract administration, and/or project coordination, with a desire for further growth and development. The role is designed for someone seeking training, exposure, mentoring, and knowledge to understand the complete project lifecycle and progress towards becoming a Project Manager.

Over time, you will be trained to estimate (bill of quantities), procure, administer, and coordinate smaller projects valued between $1 million and $5 million. Subsequently, under guidance, you will manage larger projects ranging from $10 million to $50 million-$100 million, across all scopes and sectors within this major company.

Professional Experience

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management within the last five years. This timeframe is sought to identify candidates with consistent work tenure and clear career momentum since graduation, without significant employment gaps.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in estimation, contract administration, and/or project coordination with a Developer and Head Contractor in the Australian market. More experience is preferable, but the quality of work performed is paramount.
  • A preference for an office-based environment, including direct engagement with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and clients.
