The Lorian Group is seeking an experienced Design Coordinator for a well-established contractor specialising in commercial fitouts and refurbishments within healthcare and medical environments. This role focuses on coordinating the design process, serving as the primary connection between clients and the design team, and collaborating with estimating and project delivery teams to ensure seamless project progression from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the design process for multiple medical fitout and refurbishment projects.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and the internal design team.
• Manage client expectations and maintain regular communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with estimating and project delivery teams to ensure designs align with project scope, budgets, and construction requirements.
• Undertake some estimating duties.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience in a Design Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Design Manager, Estimator, Contract Administrator, or similar role within commercial construction.
• Experience delivering commercial fitout and refurbishment projects.
• Previous estimating experience is highly regarded.
• Experience using EstimateOne and Procore, or similar construction software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
