Design Manager
McNab Group is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our established, high-performing team in Brisbane, QLD. This is a full-time, onsite role offering a competitive salary, superannuation, and benefits.

As Design Manager, you will be instrumental in guiding the design process from its commencement through to project finalisation. You will collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, aiming for high-quality outcomes while adhering to project timelines and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage design programs to ensure timely input from all involved parties.
- Coordinate and direct consultant teams to produce comprehensive and accurate design documentation.
- Apply curiosity and critical thinking to question design assumptions and propose efficient, innovative solutions.
- Recommend and integrate cost-effective construction strategies into the design process.
- Ensure design deliverables comply with all regulatory, contractual, and compliance requirements.
- Cultivate and maintain robust, respectful client relationships to foster positive project results.

We are looking for candidates who possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Design, Construction, or a related field, complemented by substantial experience in a Design Management capacity.
- A strong commercial focus, with the ability to identify cost efficiencies and practical design solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Proven capability to identify and proactively manage design and project risks.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
