About the Role: The Design Coordinator role is centred on the oversight and management of project design documentation, from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring the efficient progression of projects. This position requires fostering effective cross-departmental communication, exhibiting strong leadership, and demonstrating a steadfast commitment to customer service in project execution.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Preparing project commencement documentation and assisting design managers and the engineering team in managing technical drawing production for construction projects.
- Tracking design development and verifying its alignment with project schedules and requirements.
- Participating in conceptual design, early approvals, and maintaining design documentation.
- Assisting in the upkeep of design processes, standards, and the onboarding of consultants and contractors.
- Supporting safety practices, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

About You: This opportunity would be well-suited to an individual with a background in architectural/engineering design or construction project coordination.
- Previous experience in a Design Coordination role or a similar capacity is required.
- A strong document management skillset, a naturally detail-oriented approach, and effective time prioritisation abilities are essential.
- Exposure to working with diverse teams, including internal stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts, and external service providers, is desirable.
- The ability to identify risks and propose effective and innovative solutions is expected.
Essential:
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance.
