Clarity Partners, a well-established Indigenous-owned civil construction and mining contractor experiencing significant year-on-year growth across Western Australia, seeks an experienced Estimator. This role offers a key position in enhancing estimating capability, improving project performance, and contributing to the successful delivery of civil and mining projects.
You will collaborate closely with senior leadership from Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Business Development. This position provides the opportunity to influence tender success, project outcomes, and continuous improvement initiatives within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate estimates for multiple civil construction and mining tenders.
- Develop competitive pricing while safeguarding project margins.
- Analyse project performance data to refine future estimating accuracy.
- Support project cost control and commercial reporting functions.
- Assess production rates, plant utilisation, and project delivery methodologies.
- Collaborate with Operations, Business Development, and Commercial teams to formulate winning tender strategies.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of estimating systems and processes.
About You
You will possess estimating experience in civil construction, mining, or earthworks, complemented by strong commercial acumen and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Experience preparing estimates for civil construction, mining, and/or earthworks projects.
- A strong understanding of production rates, project costing, and commercial principles.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tenders concurrently.
- Ability to estimate works and provide cost control once projects are awarded.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Desirable Qualifications
- Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying qualifications.
- Experience delivering remote civil or mining projects.
- Experience working with Aboriginal-owned businesses or First Nations communities.
- Experience utilising estimating software such as Expert Estimation, Benchmark, Candy, or similar platforms.
