We are experiencing continued growth and seek a proactive, commercially astute Estimator to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving opportunities from initial enquiry through to scope finalisation and conversion.

About the Role

This position is well-suited for an individual who enjoys problem-solving and possesses a general understanding of building and maintenance works. Beyond quote preparation, you will manage opportunities from initial enquiry to submission, follow-up, conversion, and operational handover.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Finalising quotes based on inspections conducted by a Trayd Australia supervisor or tradesman, incorporating notes and guidance on scope, materials, and labour allowances.
• Formalising quotes from requests accompanied by adequate photos and notes.
• Preparing accurate and commercially sound estimates.
• Cultivating relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Managing quote pipelines and supporting conversion efforts.
• Collaborating closely with operations to ensure successful project delivery.

Based from our Malaga office, you will play a crucial part in identifying optimal solutions for clients while contributing to the success of a mutually supportive team. A proactive attitude, strong commercial awareness, and a genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes for both clients and the business are essential.

Skills & Experience

While experience is valued, attitude, accountability, and a willingness to learn are also highly regarded.

• A minimum of 2 years in an estimating role is ideal.
• Experience within construction, maintenance, or building services is desirable but not essential.
• The ability to interpret drawings, scopes, and technical information may be required.
• Strong organisational and time management skills are necessary.
• Experience preparing quotations, tenders, or proposals is desirable.
• Confidence working with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients is important.
• Competent computer and systems skills are required.
• Experience using AroFlo or similar job management systems is highly regarded.
• A trade background or construction industry experience is highly regarded.
