The Role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Final Trim Grader Operator to join our knowledgeable team. You will be responsible for operating the grader, ensuring all works and construction processes meet the highest quality standards and specified design levels and tolerances.

Duties

• In conjunction with the Site Supervisor, plan daily resource requirements and their transportation to site.
• Work from drawings and makers under the direction of supervisors and engineers.
• Undertake all facets of earthwork operations, performed to the highest of qualities.
• Set up of machinery-based survey equipment, such as Trimble UTS and GPS.
• Condition earth materials to achieve optimum results.
• Observe and participate in conformance testing of works.
• Coordinate other employees and plant required to achieve construction.
• Trim surfaces to the specified design levels and tolerances.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience on roads and infrastructure projects.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in the civil construction industry as a Final Trim Grader Operator.
• Experience with the use of lasers (Trimble) UTS and GPS.
• Possession of an OHS/WHS Construction Industry white card.
• Possession of an open driver's license.
• Other plant operating tickets and/or an HR license is preferable.
• High regard for safety.
• Be prepared to travel to remote sites/projects as required.
• Be available to work flexible work hours as required.
