Design & Build is seeking a Foreman/Supervisor for a contract position on an education project located in Campbelltown. This role involves managing finishes trades for an estimated duration of 3-4 months. The position is onsite.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting site inductions for staff and sub-contractors.
• Managing sub-contractors to ensure role fulfilment, monitoring daily performance in safety, quality, and programme, and reporting deficiencies to the Site Manager.
• Assisting the Site Manager with project commissioning and handover by ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and provided to the Project Manager.
• Managing cost control for specific project aspects, as directed by the Site Manager, to meet budget performance targets.
• Maintaining positive industrial relations with authorities and unions, resolving issues according to client guidelines.

Requirements:

• Trade background.
• Demonstrable experience on Schools/Education projects.
• Proven experience effectively managing a team, including sub-contractors, professionally and ensuring relationship longevity.
• Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements.
• Proven experience effectively controlling site safety.

Salary: Up to $95 per hour.
