Resource Services Group X Pty Ltd is seeking a General Manager – Projects (East Coast) to lead the execution and expansion of a varied project portfolio within the infrastructure, energy, water, and data centre sectors along the east coast. The portfolio value exceeds $250 million.

This role will involve steering strategic direction and fostering high performance within your team and portfolio, ensuring efficient project delivery, client satisfaction, and business growth. As a key member of the leadership team, your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing a high-performing team and culture of Project and Operations Managers.
• Driving the end-to-end delivery of complex construction and infrastructure projects.
• Allocating and optimising resources to meet project demands and profitability targets.
• Maintaining key stakeholder relationships, managing project escalations, and ensuring satisfaction and compliance across all engagements.
• Overseeing commercial aspects, including budget management, forecasting, and profitability.
• Utilising strategic, commercial, and operational insight to lead and support project bids.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver competitive, well-scoped tenders that align with delivery capabilities and client requirements.
• Championing QHSE standards and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

You will collaborate across departments with our Commercial, QHSE, Finance, and Pre-Contracts teams to shape RSGx’s strategic presence on the East Coast.

About You

You will have over 10 years of experience managing infrastructure and construction projects, with demonstrated leadership across multiple project teams. Expertise in EPC delivery models is highly desirable. Your strengths in financial oversight, contract negotiation, and cost control are essential for driving successful outcomes.

You possess strong skills in tendering, pre-contracts, and stakeholder engagement, with a reputation for decisive decision-making and effective communication. Professionalism, integrity, and adaptability are fundamental to your approach, particularly in high-pressure situations. You are also flexible with travel and demonstrate unwavering accountability in all projects.
