Rondan Constructions is seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join our team on a casual, on-site basis. This is a key position within our plant and machinery operations, with work in Werribee and Melton, VIC 3337.
As a Grader Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating GPS twin mast motor graders to execute earthworks, such as cutting, filling, levelling, and shaping surfaces on construction sites.
- Inspecting grading equipment before each shift to identify any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Maintaining accurate records of equipment operation, fuel consumption, and maintenance performed.
- Communicating effectively with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure work aligns with design specifications.
- Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, including greasing, oil changes, and minor repairs as required.
- Operating equipment in various weather conditions and challenging terrain while maintaining precision and efficiency.
- Ensuring the work area is kept clean and hazards are minimised at all times.

- Proven experience operating motor graders on construction sites, with demonstrated competency in precision grading work.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of local site conditions and familiarity with construction methodologies is advantageous.
