Rondan Constructions is seeking an experienced Grader Operator to join our team on a casual, on-site basis. This is a key position within our plant and machinery operations, with work in Werribee and Melton, VIC 3337.

As a Grader Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating GPS twin mast motor graders to execute earthworks, such as cutting, filling, levelling, and shaping surfaces on construction sites.
• Inspecting grading equipment before each shift to identify any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
• Maintaining accurate records of equipment operation, fuel consumption, and maintenance performed.
• Communicating effectively with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to ensure work aligns with design specifications.
• Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks, including greasing, oil changes, and minor repairs as required.
• Operating equipment in various weather conditions and challenging terrain while maintaining precision and efficiency.
• Ensuring the work area is kept clean and hazards are minimised at all times.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience operating motor graders on construction sites, with demonstrated competency in precision grading work.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
• Knowledge of local site conditions and familiarity with construction methodologies is advantageous.
