Head of Construction
Morson Edge is seeking a Head of Construction for a full-time, onsite role in Sydney NSW. The salary offered is $450,000.

As Head of Construction, you will steer the construction division, ensuring all projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality benchmarks. Reporting to the Owner, your responsibilities will encompass overseeing project delivery from feasibility to handover, cultivating high-performing site teams, and maintaining superior client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all construction operations across various luxury residential projects.
- Drive project performance in areas of safety, quality, program, budget, and client satisfaction.
- Mentor, develop, and manage Site Managers, Project Managers, and construction teams.
- Implement and continually refine construction systems, processes, and quality assurance.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and productivity to optimise profitability.
- Cultivate robust relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to WHS legislation, building codes, and company standards.
- Manage project risk, address construction challenges, and support successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to strategic planning and business growth efforts.
About You
- Possess over 10 years of experience in residential construction, including senior leadership positions.
- Demonstrate proven experience delivering high-end custom homes or luxury residential projects.
- Exhibit strong leadership capabilities with the ability to build and inspire high-performing teams.
- Possess excellent commercial, contractual, and financial management skills.
- Have extensive knowledge of Australian building regulations and WHS requirements.
- Display exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Be a proactive, solutions-oriented leader with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
