HSEQ Coordinator – Client Secondment Portfolio

This fixed-term contract role offers an engaging opportunity for an HSEQ professional seeking variety, autonomy, and the chance to cultivate client relationships across a portfolio of projects.
EverCert, a growing HSEQ consulting firm serving the construction, civil infrastructure, and commercial fitout sectors, partners with clients requiring embedded, practical HSEQ support. We are seeking a coordinator to join our team and undertake secondments across 2–3 clients concurrently. This position provides exposure to multiple client environments, allowing for independent schedule management and the ability to influence client operations. The role has potential for extension beyond the initial six months, contingent on client portfolio expansion. This position may also be suitable for individuals seeking a part-time or casual arrangement of 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of 2–3 EverCert clients, delivering embedded HSEQ coordination support.
- Develop and upload preliminary project documentation.
- Develop Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and facilitate client inductions.
- Review incoming project compliance documentation, including SWMS, subcontractor management, and training/competency records.
- Maintain ISO management system records for client engagements.
- Conduct site inspections and audits.
- Coach and guide site staff on WHS requirements, fostering capability within client teams.
- Provide WHS expertise and recommendations aligned with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Report to client Managing Directors and Project Managers, with EverCert oversight.
Requirements:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or higher).
- Experience with BuildPass or similar digital WHS/project management platforms.
- Background in commercial fitout or construction is essential.
- Solid understanding of HSEQ documentation and subcontractor compliance management.
- Confident communicator capable of training and supporting staff at all levels.
- Exceptional administration skills and strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple clients and priorities effectively.
- White Card (mandatory).
- Valid driver's licence (mandatory).
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
