Ambient Services Group Pty Ltd is an integrated provider of commercial asset maintenance solutions for metropolitan Sydney. We manage and maintain critical building infrastructure for prominent city structures, encompassing long-term asset strategies and immediate repair services.

As a result of sustained expansion, we are recruiting an experienced HVAC Estimator for our Construction Division. This role is based at our Hillsdale location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with suppliers.
• Engage with internal teams and external contacts regarding ongoing and prospective projects.
• Examine and assemble comprehensive tender documentation.
• Develop estimates and tender submissions, collaborating with clients, consultants, and other significant stakeholders.
• Manage and update the internal sales register, tender archives, and documentation for tendered projects.
• Liaise with sales and project management teams to ensure project execution aligns with budget, plans, and specifications.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Trade qualification or a Mechanical Engineering degree, with at least 5 years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry.
• Proficiency in interpreting mechanical and other construction documentation.
• Knowledge of various HVAC system types and their components.
• Capability to conduct accurate material quantity take-offs.
• Adeptness with computer systems; training will be provided on specific software, but proficiency in MS Office Suite and Simpro is necessary.
• Strong communication skills, essential for this customer-facing professional role. The ability to build rapport and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is required.
• Excellent client and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple tenders concurrently, meeting deadlines efficiently without sacrificing accuracy or attention to detail.
