Job Description

Junior Site Supervisor

Barrier Reef Pools Perth, recognised as the 2025 WA Best Fibreglass Pool winner, is seeking a full-time Junior Site Supervisor for its Perth WA operations. The role is onsite and offers a salary of $70,000 – $80,000 per year.

About the Role: As a Junior Site Supervisor with Barrier Reef Pools, you will be a crucial point of contact throughout a customer's pool installation journey. Your responsibilities will include conducting site visits to assess access for heavy machinery, and providing onsite support before and after installation. This position is suited for individuals aspiring to begin a career in site supervision or project management. While industry and on-the-job training will be provided, strong people management and organisational skills are essential. Customer service is a paramount focus for the business.

We are seeking excellent communicators capable of delivering projects within contractual allowances and budgets. This forward-facing role requires direct and prompt communication with multiple clients weekly. You will collaborate closely with the Sales and Scheduling teams to ensure safe, timely, and budget-compliant delivery of each swimming pool. Working alongside a dedicated Client Liaison Officer, you will act as the liaison between onsite trades, clients, and head office, providing updates on evolving trade and customer needs. Your week will involve travel between client residences for pre- and post-installation site checks, with flexible hours from Monday to Friday.

Benefits include the use of a company vehicle, iPad, and mobile phone for business purposes. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a growing and evolving business, with input into systems and practice development. Commission is available on written sales or variations, though this is not a sales-focused role.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively address customer needs.
  • Promptly respond to all customer enquiries.
  • Confirm the final finishing height and position of the swimming pool onsite, adhering to drafted plans and council requirements.
  • Conduct site checks and relay relevant information to the Scheduling Team to book trades and resources in line with contract allowances.
  • Collaborate with your dedicated Customer Liaison Officer and Scheduling team to book and manage completion trades for each site.
  • Perform post-installation site checks to ensure high standards of workmanship are maintained.

Skills Required:

  • Highly organised and a self-starter.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Personable, with the capacity to build rapport with diverse personality types.
  • Ability to assess and manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong planning and problem-solving capabilities.
  • A decisive and positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of WH&S practices within the construction industry.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and manage drawings, specifications, and plans is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a trade-based supervisory role is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience in the swimming pool industry is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with local permit authorities is advantageous but not mandatory.

Qualifications:

  • Construction White Card.
  • WA Driver’s Licence.
  • Permanent resident or citizen status is required. Applications not meeting this criterion cannot be considered.

The delivery of a new swimming pool is a significant event for our customers. The capacity of our Site Supervisors to plan and communicate effectively is fundamental to a safe and seamless installation. If you possess the qualities to be a key member of our award-winning team, please apply.
