As the new OEM Manager for Queensland, you will serve as a key advisor to our established portfolio of civil construction clients in South East Queensland, while actively seeking and pursuing avenues for business expansion.
The OEM Manager – QLD role is focused on cultivating, reinforcing, and managing strategic partnerships with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners throughout the region. The objective is to drive the adoption and sales of Trimble Earthworks, along with other potential offerings from the broader Herga group of companies. This position acts as the central point of contact between GCM Australia, other Herga group entities, OEM dealer networks, and Trimble within Queensland. A core function is to ensure OEM sales teams receive the necessary training, support, and commercial enablement to effectively promote and resell Trimble Earthworks products.
Reporting to the National OEM Manager and supported by our technical and executive teams, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining robust working relationships with OEM regional leadership and dealer sales teams.
- Positioning Trimble Earthworks as the preferred machine control solution within OEM channels.
- Providing support to OEM sales teams during customer interactions, product demonstrations, and technical discussions.
- Assisting OEM teams in identifying, qualifying, and converting potential opportunities into sales.
- Coordinating joint marketing efforts, field days, and exhibition participation.
- Maintaining consistent communication with OEM stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and progress towards growth objectives.
- Liaising with OEM workshop teams to uphold efficiency and safety standards.
We are seeking a candidate with a proven background in sales to the Civil Construction industry or practical experience and knowledge within Civil Construction.
