They deliver high-quality residential and commercial building solutions, managing projects from initial assessment through to completion, and work alongside some of Australia's leading insurance providers. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a proactive and organised Pre-Construction Coordinator to join their collaborative team.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for an administration professional looking to build a long-term career within the construction industry. As the Pre-Construction Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the transition of projects from approval to construction. You will work closely with project managers, estimators, finance, and clients to ensure all pre-start documentation, contracts, and administrative requirements are completed accurately and efficiently. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and thrives on keeping projects organised and moving forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue residential and commercial building contracts.
- Coordinate contract documentation and ensure all required paperwork is completed prior to construction commencing.
- Assist with issuing client invoices and monitoring payment status.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders regarding project documentation and pre-construction requirements.
- Maintain accurate project records and contract documentation.
- Support project handovers from estimating through to construction.
- Track outstanding pre-start requirements and follow up where required.
- Provide general administrative support to the pre-construction and operations teams.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role within the construction, building, or insurance industry.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
- Confidence working with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
