This position is for a Production Estimator within the residential construction sector, based in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. The role offers a salary of $90,000 to $100,000 per annum, plus superannuation. It is a full-time, onsite position with flexible start and finish times.

The Opportunity We are partnering with a well-established and respected residential home builder operating across Southeast Queensland. This company is recognised for constructing high-quality custom homes, with a proven history in greenfield sites, intricate architectural designs, and knock-down rebuild projects. Due to a strong project pipeline and ongoing expansion, they are seeking a Production Estimator to support their construction activities and ensure precise, timely costings for various projects.

The Role As a Production Estimator, you will be integral to the pre-construction phase, working on a spectrum of builds from standard custom homes to more complex and detailed projects. Your duties will involve:

• Preparing production estimates and costings for residential builds.
• Reviewing plans, specifications, and variations for custom and knock-down rebuild projects.
• Collaborating with drafting, sales, and construction teams.
• Ensuring accuracy in Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and take-offs.
• Managing supplier and subcontractor pricing.
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings while maintaining build quality.

About You

• Previous experience as an Estimator in residential construction is required.
• Exposure to custom homes, knock-down rebuilds, or complex projects is highly regarded.
• A strong understanding of local building methods, materials, and costings is essential.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills are necessary.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines is required.
• Experience with estimating software such as Databuild, Buildxact, or similar is expected.
