With a robust pipeline of upcoming work, we are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator/Project Manager to join our team for an immediate commencement.

This is a dual-function, practical role where you will manage projects from inception to completion, encompassing both contracts administration and project delivery.

The Role

Your responsibilities will cover the entire project lifecycle for multiple projects, typically valued between $1 million and $5 million. This includes:

  • Managing projects from award through to final handover, covering commercial, industrial, and small civil works.
  • Performing full contract administration duties, including:
  • Managing head contracts and subcontracts.
  • Letting and negotiating subcontracts and supply agreements.
  • Handling variations, progress claims, extensions of time, and RFIs.
  • Overseeing cost control, forecasting, budgets, and cash flow.
  • Developing programmes and short-term plans in collaboration with site teams.
  • Coordinating with site managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards according to company systems.
  • Managing client and stakeholder relationships, including conducting meetings, providing reports, and preparing handover documentation.

You will be based in the office and on-site in Sydney, with project visits as necessary.

About You

  • You are a self-starter and capable of supporting organisational needs as priorities shift.
  • You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Contracts Administrator or Project Manager within the construction industry.
  • You have a proven history of successfully delivering commercial, industrial, and/or civil projects valued up to $5 million.
  • You have a strong understanding of Australian Standards contracts and NSW construction legislation.
  • You are comfortable with cost reporting, programming, and contract correspondence.
  • You can effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • You demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build robust relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • A degree or trade qualification in construction, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred but not essential for candidates with significant experience.
  • You hold a current driver's licence and have full Australian working rights.

What We Offer

  • An immediate start is available.
  • A competitive salary package, aligned with your experience.
  • Comprehensive administrative and accounts support.
  • Access to first-class QWHSE accredited systems and professional digital management platforms.
  • A stable, long-term pipeline of work across commercial, industrial, and civil sectors.
  • Direct access to senior management, facilitating quick decision-making.
  • A supportive team environment offering genuine autonomy and responsibility.

A proposed package including base salary, superannuation, various allowances, and other potential benefits will be presented, reviewed, discussed, negotiated, and agreed upon with the successful candidate. The base salary indicated is a guide; demonstrate your value, and we are open to discussion.

How to Apply

Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter detailing:

  • Recent projects you have managed, including scope, value, and your specific role.
  • Your experience in both contracts administration and project management.

All applications will be handled with strict confidentiality. Only individuals with the legal right to work in Australia will be considered.
