An opportunity exists to bolster the technical design capabilities within the project team. Strong, proactive design support is essential for advancing our projects. To enhance this capability, we are seeking a Project Design Technician to collaborate closely with the Projects team and report to its management on all facets of design, documentation, and site coordination.

In this capacity, you will contribute to concept design, construction documentation, 3D modelling, and consultant coordination, ensuring project information is accurate, well-managed, and prepared for delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide CAD drafting and design coordination for concept and construction documentation on capital works projects.
• Support the Projects team with design development, documentation, and site-related coordination across all project stages.
• Review construction and ride design information and communicate updates within the project team.
• Assist in supervising and coordinating external design consultants when required.
• Produce 3D design renderings and support conceptual and thematic design development.
• Identify potential design or documentation issues, propose solutions, and communicate them promptly.
• Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment.

What We’re Looking For:

You will possess the knowledge and practical experience that underpins high-quality project outcomes, including:

• Strong CAD capability, including proficiency in ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and other related design software (drafting, BIM principles, file management).
• Proficient understanding of detailed Digital Design coordination and file management.
• Theme park experience (beneficial).
• Demonstrated design experience within the construction industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with stakeholders across the business.
• Strong time management, analytical skills, and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Proactive, well-organised, and able to manage workload effectively.
• Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
