Project Engineer - Luxury Apartment Development - Gosford

A well-established apartment builder and developer with an outstanding industry reputation seeks a Project Engineer to contribute to the delivery of a high-end apartment development on the Central Coast. This privately-owned company fosters a supportive, family-like culture and offers the chance to work on iconic Central Coast projects. They have a strong pipeline of work for the next five years and collaborate with reputable architects from Sydney and NSW, specialising in boutique luxury apartment developments.

Reporting Line: Senior Site Manager and Project Manager Ideal Start Date: Not specified Location: Gosford Work Type: Full-time Office/Site Expectations: Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Project Delivery and the team, assisting in the successful delivery of the project to the highest possible standards.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager and Senior Site Manager regarding construction programming.
  • Coordinate technical and compliance aspects of the works.
  • Observe the Construction Management Plan and all its subsets (e.g., WHSE).
  • Read and interpret the full suite of design and construction documentation.
  • Support the resolution of technical issues in conjunction with the Project Manager, Other Project Delivery Members, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and Statutory Authorities.
  • Maintain and administer site QA/QC in accordance with approved method statements, quality management plans, and systems.
  • Liaise with corporate purchasing to ensure orders are clearly defined and match specified requirements.
  • Check and evaluate sub-contractor progress claims.
  • Prepare and maintain site record systems (e.g., daily and project reports).
  • Provide suggestions and technical advice for improvement on specific projects.
  • Manage design processes to set standards.
  • Monitor project progress, compliance with design specifications, and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working on Class 2 projects.
  • Experience working on luxury developments will be highly regarded.
  • Degree in Construction Management or a trade background.
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Excellent skills in Aconex or Procore.
  • A Contracts Administration background would be highly regarded.
  • Experience with Tier 2 and Tier 3 builders.
  • Positive attitude.

Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 + superannuation.
