Project Manager
CGC Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager for a full-time, permanent role based in Blacktown. The salary offered is $130,000 - $170,000 + Super (dependent on experience). This is an onsite position.

About the Role Reporting to senior management, your responsibilities will include the successful delivery of multiple commercial joinery and interior fit-out packages from award to completion. This role is suited to a motivated construction professional with experience in managing architectural joinery, commercial interiors, workplace fit-outs, healthcare projects, education facilities, or government projects. You will manage project planning, procurement, manufacturing coordination, site delivery, subcontractor management, programme control, stakeholder engagement, and financial performance. Projects span high-end corporate offices, commercial tower refurbishments, healthcare facilities, education environments, and government fit-outs across Sydney and interstate locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial joinery and fit-out projects concurrently.
- Oversee project delivery from design coordination to final handover.
- Develop and maintain project programmes and construction schedules.
- Coordinate manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and installation activities.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and installation teams.
- Monitor project budgets, variations, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Liaise with builders, consultants, architects, and client representatives.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contractual obligations.
- Drive project quality outcomes and defect-free delivery.
- Manage risk, safety, and compliance requirements throughout project lifecycles.
- Attend site meetings and provide regular project reporting.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across all project phases.

Project values can range from several hundred thousand dollars up to multi-million-dollar interior packages.
About You To be successful in this position, you will possess:
- Proven Project Management experience within commercial construction, fit-out, interiors, or joinery.
- Strong understanding of architectural joinery and interior fit-out delivery.
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Strong commercial acumen and cost management capability.
- Experience managing project programmes and subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced project environments.
Highly Regarded Experience
- Architectural joinery manufacturing knowledge.
- Commercial office fit-out experience.
- Healthcare, education, or government project exposure.
- Experience delivering projects within live environments.
- Tier 1 or Tier 2 builder project experience.
- Trade qualification in Joinery, Cabinet Making, Carpentry, or a related discipline.
- Construction Management or Project Management qualifications.
