The Role Reporting to an experienced Construction Manager with a significant mid-tier background, you will be responsible for projects from pre-construction through to successful completion. You will play a crucial role in delivering both new build and major refurbishment projects valued between $5M and $30M. This involves managing all facets of project delivery, leading high-performing teams, and cultivating strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing projects from Expression of Interest and tender stages through to construction and completion.
- Leading and mentoring project teams to achieve exceptional outcomes.
- Coordinating consultants, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Developing and managing project programs, budgets, and delivery strategies.
- Driving commercial performance while upholding quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Typically managing 1-2 live projects concurrently, while also contributing to a project in the tender phase.
About You Essential criteria include:
- Proven experience in delivering commercial new build and major refurbishment projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the capacity to motivate and develop project teams.
- Sound commercial and financial management capabilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
Salary & Benefits An attractive salary package will be negotiated based on experience and current market conditions, with an expected package in the vicinity of $230K-$250K. This package includes the option of a fully maintained company ute.
