A privately owned, award-winning commercial builder with a well-structured organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager. This company serves a diverse Australian client base, having delivered iconic projects up to $20 million, including multiple award-winning developments across Education, Commercial, and Industrial sectors for both private and public clients. Due to significant project acquisitions and organic growth, they are actively recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join their team near Campbelltown.

The Role

The Project Manager will oversee the construction of projects from initial documentation receipt through to client handover at practical completion. Initially, you will be assigned to a $20 million Education project. Reporting to the Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and organising project tasks and timelines.
• Managing the project lifecycle from commencement to completion.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams and delegating responsibilities.
• Monitoring project progress and resolving any issues or delays.
• Effectively managing project budgets and resources.
• Communicating project updates to stakeholders clearly and promptly.
• Ensuring project objectives are met within scope and quality standards.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you will possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Building or Construction Management.
• More than 5 years of postgraduate experience in construction projects.
• Experience managing Commercial projects end-to-end up to $10 million.
• Working knowledge of all major building trades.
• Technical working knowledge of the building design process.
• A solid work history with reputable firms.
• Financial acumen to ensure projects operate within budgetary constraints.
• Computer literacy, including advanced skills in MS Project and Procore.
