Pitts Design & Construction Pty Ltd (PDC) is a commercial construction firm delivering industry-leading building services and innovative construction solutions. PDC supports project delivery across retail, fuel, fast food, and childcare sectors. PDC is involved in building and fit-out design, liaising directly with developers. Projects are then coordinated, with PDC arranging contracted trade services to complete the works.

We seek an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of major projects and lead teams. This role is for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can bring structure, clarity, and momentum to complex builds.

About the Role This position involves overseeing end-to-end project delivery for a varied portfolio of commercial construction projects. It is suited for an individual who enjoys balancing on-site leadership with strategic planning, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and resolve issues before they escalate.
  • Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
  • Drive projects to completion on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of construction project management experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and site operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence and calm.
  • Proficiency with project management software and reporting tools.
  • An initiative-taking mindset and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Australian work rights are required for this position.
