ROUSSOS Recruitment is collaborating with a highly regarded South Australian builder to appoint a Project Manager. The successful candidate will lead the delivery of one of Adelaide's most significant mixed-use developments, which is now entering its construction phase. This is not a standard commercial project; it is a landmark precinct that will integrate luxury living, premium hospitality, and thoughtfully designed public spaces. It requires a Project Manager who thrives on complexity, collaboration, and the creation of projects that genuinely influence a city. Beyond this initial project, the company has established itself as one of South Australia's progressive builders, possessing a growing portfolio of architecturally notable developments that consistently elevate quality standards.

The Project

The initial focus will be on the delivery of a flagship mixed-use development that has already garnered considerable attention in Adelaide. This project includes:

• Premium residential apartments
• Luxury hotel accommodation
• Activated retail spaces
• Sophisticated public realm outcomes

This development necessitates exceptional planning, stakeholder management, and leadership throughout its delivery phase, representing the type of project that will set a benchmark within South Australia's built environment.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will assume responsibility for the project from construction through to its final completion. This involves close collaboration with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Managing the entire project lifecycle, from planning to completion.
• Driving progress, cost, quality, and commercial objectives.
• Leading and mentoring project delivery teams.
• Managing subcontractor engagement and project performance.
• Building and maintaining robust client and stakeholder relationships.
• Identifying and managing project risks while ensuring programme certainty.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The Like Mind

You may be an established Project Manager, or perhaps a Senior Project Coordinator or Senior Contract Administrator looking to advance into a more significant leadership role. You will possess:

• Proven experience in delivering complex commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with the capacity to manage programme, cost, and risk.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• The confidence to collaborate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, and clients.
• A genuine desire to deliver projects of which you can be proud.
