A respected national civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of significant infrastructure projects valued between $20 million and $50 million. This is a critical leadership position for a motivated professional with substantial bulk earthworks experience and, ideally, Defence project involvement.

Your New Role Reporting to senior leadership, the Senior Project Manager will be accountable for the complete lifecycle of major civil projects, ensuring successful outcomes in safety, commercial performance, and programme delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the successful delivery of large-scale projects ($30M+) from initiation to close-out.
• Managing head contracts and subcontract agreements to achieve commercial objectives.
• Establishing and controlling project budgets, forecasts, and reporting cycles.
• Developing and maintaining detailed construction programmes.
• Leading and mentoring multidisciplinary project teams.
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
• Driving compliance across HSEQ systems and project governance.
• Overseeing risk management, variations, and project performance reporting.

What You'll Need to Succeed The successful candidate will possess:

• Demonstrated experience delivering civil infrastructure projects valued at approximately $30 million+.
• Strong capability in bulk earthworks (essential).
• Exposure to Defence projects (highly regarded).
• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in contract management, cost control, and programme delivery.
• Strong leadership capability with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
• A commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
