We are seeking a Project Manager to support large-scale health projects. In this role, you will work alongside Senior Project Managers/Directors to oversee facility planning, design, procurement, and construction phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and manage projects and programs as the primary client interface.
- Manage complex and diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Develop working relationships, solve problems, and drive projects to successful completion.
- Manage multiple project budgets and provide advice on options to maintain budget adherence.
- Oversee the project delivery process across multiple projects and programmes to meet client requirements and manage expectations.
- Review project plans and specifications, including scheduling, cost-saving measures, discrepancies, and potential construction issues.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and reporting.
- Chair project meetings with clients and consultants.
- Analyse and define future programme and portfolio strategies.
- Engage in marketing and business development initiatives.
- Drive business outcomes in conjunction with project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- A recognised Degree or equivalent qualification in a technical field such as Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or Cost Management.
- 7 to 5 years of Project Management experience (consultancy or client-side preferred).
- Experience in the health sector is desirable, with experience in brownfield, live construction, and/or mental health facilities being advantageous.
- Existing Australian work rights are ideal.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Technical capability to lead and manage complex projects and programmes as the key client interface.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including strong command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for client delivery.
