Job Summary
As Risk Manager, you will provide support and guidance on Project Risk Management (PRM) to relevant internal and external stakeholders across the project. Your responsibilities will include offering technical advice and managing the risk management program. This role necessitates strong interpersonal skills to drive focus on PRM, lead through influence, and integrate PRM with key interfaces throughout the project scope.
Major Responsibilities
- Lead the project risk management program across the project.
- Manage and maintain risk activities to ensure alignment with the risk management plan.
- Conduct quantitative risk analysis (schedule and cost) across the project.
- Provide training to the project team in risk management and facilitate workshops for projects, programs, and the portfolio.
- Advise project leaders on risk awareness.
- Deliver training in project risk management.
- Arrange and facilitate workshops to support the Project Execution Plan.
- Report to key stakeholders and represent the project risk management program at project leadership meetings.
- Liaise with CPP and customer leaders on all aspects of the project risk management program.
- Collate risk intelligence, associated lessons learned, and best practices, ensuring their distribution throughout the project.
- Champion the creation of a work environment, supported by leadership, that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction on the project.
Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience, or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in working and communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with other project functional groups. Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
- Demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative risk management is necessary.
- Experience in the infrastructure / heavy civil / aviation / renewables / construction industries is advantageous.
