Senior Contracts Administrator - Luxury Apartment Projects
A builder with a presence in the Sydney market, recognised for delivering boutique luxury apartment developments, is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator. They collaborate with reputable Sydney architects and have completed prestigious, ultra-luxury projects. This organisation maintains a positive approach towards subcontractors, clients, and employees, offering support and opportunities for skill and experience enhancement.
Due to ongoing expansion, they require an experienced, stand-alone Contracts Administrator to support the delivery of a large-scale luxury development.
Responsibilities:
- Subcontractor administration, including:
- Compiling subcontractor agreements.
- Developing scope of works.
- Preparing tender packages.
- Negotiating contract prices and conditions.
- Reviewing contractor quotes.
- Preparing final contract documents.
- Managing subcontractor progress claims.
- Negotiating the procurement and ordering of materials.
- Assisting with the administration of Requests for Information (RFIs), Extensions of Time (EOTs), and variations.
- Collaborating with site supervisors to ensure adherence to project programs, deadlines, and budgets.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Must be an experienced and stand-alone Contracts Administrator.
- Extensive experience on Class 2 / apartment projects is essential.
- Previous experience on luxury apartment projects is required.
- Exposure to Procore or Aconex is desirable.
- A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a comparative degree is ideal.
- Fully capable of managing:
- All procurement.
- Contract administration.
- Head and subcontractor variations.
- Cost reporting.
