Due to continued growth and successful project delivery with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Project Management team in Darwin is expanding. We are seeking industry leaders, Senior Project Managers, and Project Managers.
As a Senior Project Manager with Turner & Townsend, you will possess a commercial acumen and experience across various sectors, including but not limited to Government, regional and remote housing, roads, tourism, commercial, retail, defence, health, and education.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex projects and programs, serving as the primary client interface.
- Develop working relationships, engage in problem-solving, and drive projects to successful completion.
- Oversee the design process to meet client requirements and manage expectations.
- Review project plans and specifications, including scheduling, cost-saving measures, and identification of discrepancies or potential construction issues.
- Manage project safety and environmental requirements.
- Manage project timelines, risks, and reporting.
- Manage project budgets and provide advice on options to maintain budget adherence.
- Chair project/site meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors, which may involve remote travel within the NT.
- Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives.
Qualifications
- A recognised Degree or equivalent qualification in a technical field such as Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
- More than 3 years of industry experience managing projects within real estate. Experience in infrastructure projects is ideal.
- The ability to perform effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft skills are essential, and Primavera skills will be highly regarded.
- Technical capability to lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with strong report and bid writing skills.
- Strong leadership skills, with the capacity to lead and develop a team.
- Highly motivated and driven, with a dedication to client delivery.
- Defence Clearances will be highly regarded.
