Private Advertiser is seeking a Site Foreman for a large-scale luxury apartment development in Sutherland. This is a full-time, onsite position.

About the Role An established and multi-award-winning apartment builder requires a Site Foreman to join a highly qualified team for a significant luxury apartment development. You will report to an experienced Senior Site Manager and Senior Project Manager, contributing to the project from basement level. The role requires you to hit the ground running, keeping pace with project programming and scheduling. You will lead site teams and oversee both structural and finishes/interiors aspects of the development.

Duties and Responsibilities Reporting to the Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing work programs and monitoring the progress of structural and finishes works.
• Taking ownership of a dedicated set of works or project area, requiring independent work.
• Co-ordinating and implementing all day-to-day site activities.
• Effectively managing the construction program to achieve progress and project delivery schedules.
• Effectively managing subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers on site.
• Managing and co-ordinating materials, plant, and equipment on site.
• Conducting site inductions for staff and subcontractors.
• Conducting toolbox talks.
• Responding to site emergencies and co-ordinating with appropriate authorities.
• Eliminating defects at the source.

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Trade qualifications in carpentry, construction, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience on high-rise residential projects as a Site Foreman with both structures and finishes skills.
• Proven experience in effectively managing a team, including subcontractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships.
• A good understanding of WHS and Environmental legislation and requirements, with proven experience in effectively controlling site safety and environmental compliance.
• The ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Excellent document control skills with Procore.

You will be the type of person who pays attention to detail and can plan work sequences meticulously. While you will have the support of a large team to get you up to speed on project intricacies and help solve problems, you will need to be confident working independently within your assigned area.

Remuneration and Hours

• Salary: $160,000 – $180,000 plus super.
• Work type: Full-time.
