Job Description

Site Manager

Core Talent is seeking a Site Manager to join their team, focusing on high-end architectural homes in the Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore of Sydney. This full-time, hybrid role offers a salary of AUD 150,000 - 180,000 per annum.

This opportunity is for individuals passionate about building exceptional homes who desire the autonomy to manage their site effectively. The role is distinct, seeking a trade-qualified Site Manager to assume complete ownership of one architecturally designed home from inception to completion, rather than a role involving micromanagement or excessive paperwork. You will be empowered to manage your project as if it were your own business, with responsibilities encompassing programming, trade coordination, client liaison, quality assurance, and handover. You will have the authority to make decisions and achieve outstanding outcomes, supported by a dedicated office team managing estimating, procurement, administration, and selections.

Why This Role Appeals:

  • Build architecturally designed homes valued at $5M+.
  • Manage a single project from site establishment to handover.
  • Genuine autonomy to manage your site according to your methods.
  • Hybrid flexibility, balancing site work with office presence, without undue supervision.
  • Collaborate with quality trades, architects, and clients who value craftsmanship.
  • Join a growing business with a substantial pipeline of luxury residential projects.
  • Recognition for your contributions, not solely for hours spent at a desk.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Assuming complete ownership of your project.
  • Developing programmes and coordinating all trades.
  • Upholding exceptional quality and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Engaging closely with clients, architects, and consultants.
  • Leading site safety and overseeing daily operations.
  • Proactively resolving construction challenges.
  • Setting site standards and leading by example.
  • Contributing hands-on when necessary to maintain quality and project momentum.

We Are Seeking Someone Who:

  • Demonstrates genuine care for builds beyond mere supervision.
  • Possesses an eye for detail, earns trade respect, and takes pride in exceeding client expectations upon handover.

Likely Qualifications Include:

  • A Certificate III in Carpentry.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience managing high-end custom homes post-apprenticeship.
  • Proven success in delivering multiple luxury residential projects from commencement to completion.
  • Experience managing projects valued at $2M+, with the capacity to take ownership of homes exceeding $5M.
  • Strong organisational and communication proficiencies.
  • Comfort with construction software and digital systems.
  • Ownership of personal tools and a willingness to assist on-site to uphold quality standards.

If you are dedicated to high-end residential construction and wish to take ownership of some of Sydney's finest custom homes, we invite you to apply now for a confidential discussion.
