EMCON is seeking an experienced Class 2 residential Site Manager. This full-time, onsite role offers an immediate start with no Saturday work.

You will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a luxury four-storey multi-residential project valued at $10 million on Maroubra Beach, NSW. The project is currently more than halfway complete, and you will commence at the start of joinery installation. The project is scheduled for completion at the end of this year. A subsequent project on the same street, valued at $18 million and comprising 10 luxury units, is planned.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Oversee the allocation of resources, including labour, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and Australian standards.
• Foster a positive, collaborative working environment and promote a strong safety culture on-site.
• Provide hands-on leadership and mentoring to the construction team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager or Foreperson in the construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering high-end multi-residential projects.
• Experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 1 builder is ideal.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with subcontractors and the project team.
• In-depth knowledge of construction practices, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Confidence in using Bluebeam or similar programmes.
• Experience with PROCORE is ideal.
• Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Building & Construction.
