You will engage with a variety of Metricon construction projects, with a significant emphasis on quality and meticulous attention to detail. Due to ongoing expansion, you will be tasked with overseeing and independently managing the operations of a bustling construction site. Achieving defect-free results is essential. This role offers an engaging opportunity to supervise and coordinate the construction of homes in the Burpengary area, ensuring that trades adhere to quality standards, timelines, and OH&S objectives.

Reporting to the Building Support Team Leader, your responsibilities will encompass:

• Serving as the primary client liaison throughout the build phase of a project and taking responsibility for the overall execution and quality finish of homes.
• Managing the comprehensive site performance of our home construction processes.
• Collaborating with your Construction Manager and reviewing each of your projects within Clickhomes, with support provided.
• Maximising site production by ensuring the availability of subcontracted trades.
• Scheduling and meeting with trades on site.
• Proactively addressing build issues and liaising with clients.
• Continuously reviewing building practices and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with and implementation of established cost management and project management practices.
• Cultivating a positive and focused environment where customer service and teamwork are paramount.
• Ensuring build quality meets the highest standards.
• Handing over keys and settlement packs to customers.

The successful candidate will possess:

• Mandatory experience as a Site Manager within the residential building industry.
• Strong project management skills, with knowledge of building regulations, OHS regulations, and QA systems.
• Experience in developing and managing organisational and external networks, particularly with trades.
• A customer-centric approach, exceptional communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Familiarity with new homes contracts.
• The ability to communicate professionally, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• A high level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to all undertaken tasks.
