This role is for individuals who have a background in supervising residential home construction and are seeking an environment with manageable workloads, reduced firefighting, and sufficient on-site time to achieve high standards of work.

Format Homes structures the Site Manager role to avoid excessive home supervision. This approach provides the necessary time, support, and a trusted trade network to concentrate on delivering quality homes and ensuring an outstanding client experience.

The Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will manage a portfolio of residential builds from the slab stage through to handover. Responsibilities include ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction throughout the construction process. This involves coordinating trusted trades, monitoring build quality, managing construction programs, ensuring compliance with building regulations and WHS requirements, maintaining professional client communication, and overseeing warranty and maintenance items post-handover. Projects are custom homes located across metropolitan Adelaide, offering variety and fostering strong relationships with clients and subcontractors. The role utilises ClickHome project management software, supported by a collaborative and experienced construction team.

About You

To be considered for this position, you must hold a South Australian Residential Building Works Supervisor's Licence and possess experience supervising residential home construction. You should take pride in your work, communicate effectively with clients and trades, manage pressure with organisation, and enjoy collaborative work environments.
