DM Composites specialises in delivering Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) boardwalks, pedestrian bridges, marine structures, and public infrastructure projects throughout NSW, Victoria, and other Australian states. We manage design, manufacturing, supply, and installation in-house, expanding our portfolio with councils, government agencies, and Tier 2 construction companies.
We are seeking a motivated Site Supervisor or an experienced tradesperson prepared for site management responsibilities. This role is integral to the delivery of design-and-construct (D&C) infrastructure projects, involving the coordination of subcontractors, upholding quality and safety standards, and ensuring project efficiency.
This position requires regular travel across Australia, with some projects necessitating up to three weeks away from home. Successful candidates must be willing to undertake project-related travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations for FRP and public infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, and material handling.
- Maintain site diaries, progress reports, and photographic records.
- Ensure adherence to Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) requirements.
- Monitor construction quality and verify that works align with drawings and specifications.
- Identify site challenges and propose solutions to the project team.
- Foster productive relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Experience supervising or leading small construction teams (formal or informal).
- Background in civil construction, carpentry, formwork, FRP, marine, or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and work from D&C documentation.
- White Card and current driver’s licence (essential).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A reliable, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
- Carpentry experience is highly regarded.
- Willingness to travel and stay away for up to three weeks for project assignments.
