About the Role
DT Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Supervisor (Piling) to join the team delivering the Smoky Creek Solar Farm project near Westwood, Queensland. This role operates on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Brisbane, involving travel to Rockhampton before proceeding to site. It includes a 20% uplift and full camp accommodation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising piling activities on a major utility-scale solar development, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-standard delivery. Collaboration with project engineers, subcontractors, and site leadership is key to coordinating daily operations, managing resources, and driving project outcomes for this significant Queensland renewable energy project.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise piling crews and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
- Coordinate daily site activities, resources, equipment, and materials to meet project programme requirements.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and compliance while driving continuous improvement across site operations.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with project plans, safety requirements, and DTI management systems.
- Identify and manage site risks, issues, and constraints while maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.
- Support project reporting, planning, and coordination activities to achieve successful delivery outcomes.
About You
- Proven experience supervising piling, civil, foundations, or major earthworks activities on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site safety requirements, and subcontractor management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead site teams and deliver works safely, on time, and to a high standard.
- Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple work fronts.
- Experience working within renewable energy, civil infrastructure, mining, or major project environments is highly regarded.
- A proactive leadership style with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and team performance.
