Sunrise Surveying Pty Ltd, a rapidly expanding surveying company in Queensland, is seeking an experienced Survey Manager to join its leadership team in Brisbane, QLD. This full-time, onsite role offers a salary of $160,000 – $180,000 per year.

Reporting to the Director, the Survey Manager will lead a team of surveyors, ensuring safe, efficient, timely, and high-quality project delivery. The role involves close collaboration with clients, project managers, and internal teams to coordinate resources, mentor staff, and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor survey and technical staff.
• Manage the delivery of multiple civil, infrastructure, and construction projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate project resources, programming, and survey requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and support to field and office teams.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance systems and surveying standards.
• Monitor project budgets, productivity, and commercial performance.
• Assist with tendering, business development, and opportunity identification.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all projects.
• Support the ongoing development and training of team members.

About You:

You are a seasoned surveying professional with a passion for leading teams and cultivating enduring client relationships. You possess strong commercial acumen and a clear understanding of successful project delivery coupled with people development.

Ideal Qualifications:

• A recognised degree in Surveying or Spatial Science.
• Registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland, or eligibility for registration.
• Significant experience delivering civil, infrastructure, or construction surveying projects within Australia.
• Previous leadership or management experience, or a demonstrated capacity to mentor and develop survey teams.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Strong organisational and project management abilities.
• Experience using 12d and Leica survey equipment will be highly regarded.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
