Fuse Recruitment is seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety Consultant for a full-time, onsite position in Perth WA. The role offers an annual salary of AUD 115,000.

This is a consultative, client-facing opportunity where your expertise in workers compensation, relationship management, and claims knowledge will be instrumental. You will collaborate closely with clients to enhance injury management outcomes, support retention initiatives, and contribute to the expansion of a respected specialist advisory firm.

You will join a team focused on workplace risk and injury management, dedicated to partnering with clients to achieve practical, commercially viable, and people-centric results. The team is recognised for its technical proficiency, robust client partnerships, and a commitment to assisting businesses in more effectively managing workplace injury and insurance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support a portfolio of client accounts, prioritising retention, service excellence, and profitable expansion.
• Provide clients with guidance on workplace injury, claims management, and insurance program requirements.
• Examine claims, identify resolution opportunities, and implement cost-effective strategies.
• Maintain consistent client engagement, deliver performance reports, and inform stakeholders about market developments.
• Cultivate strong professional relationships with clients, insurers, and industry associates.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping, adherence to relevant legislation, and consistent application of internal systems and templates.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in workers compensation, injury management, or claims management.
• A thorough understanding of claims processes, injury management strategies, and workplace risk principles.
• Tertiary qualifications in a business-related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and clearly present recommendations.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
• A client-centric approach, with the ability to build trust and deliver practical solutions.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Allied Health qualification and Injury Rehabilitation experience.
