Works & Planning Officer - Sunwater

Location: Mackay Work Type: Full-time Salary: $116,610.80 per annum plus 12.75% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading. Work Arrangement: Onsite

Reporting to the Operations Manager Pioneer Bowen Basin, this role is responsible for the planning and scheduling of routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance activities. You will engage with multidiscipline work groups and contractors to ensure works are prioritised and delivered efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, implement, and monitor schedules for routine operations, preventative, and corrective maintenance works to optimise resource utilisation.
• Undertake planning duties including the creation, updating, and recording of notifications, scheduling and assigning work orders, compilation of work instructions and work packs, and recording/review of work orders and asset history.
• Schedule and coordinate all mandatory inspections, including Lifting, Fire extinguishers, Test & Tag, Cranes/Hoists, Instrumentation, survey equipment, Forklift, and EWP.
• Create and maintain a defect and corrective work list, detailing required information, risk, and priority.

Requirements:

• Proven organisational skills.
• Competence in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring work programs, resources, and associated logistics.
• Ability to manage a demanding workload within a changing environment.
• Experience in a planning or scheduling role within a similar environment.
• Working knowledge of word processing, Excel, database, and asset maintenance management software (e.g., SAP and/or Viziya).
• A Class ‘C’ driver’s licence.
